Pyramid Saimira shuts 32 screens in West, North
• NEW DELHI: Pyramid Saimira on Tuesday said it has pulled down shutters of the company's 32 screens across Western and Northern region owing to heavy operating losses. The company has also exited from distributing Hindi films in the country as it finds running the business unviable. "This year, the entertainment industry is going through a kind of slowdown and it is not picking up. So we have decided to shut 32 screens that we were running in Mumbai, Gujarat and NCR with immediate effect," chairman PS Saminathan said.
