Promises to cut the tax on diesel in Canada

A Conservative government will cut the tax on diesel and jet fuel in half, saving farmers and truckers money at a time of rising energy prices according to Prime Minister Stephen Harper. The Conservatives are so against any plan to raise gas prices that they've decided to actually lower some of them. Prime Minister is also pledging to cut the the price of jet fuel in a move he claims would reduce the cost of everything from groceries to plane rides.
